Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Your Golden Triangle trip begins with your arrival at the Delhi International Airport. At the airport, you will be received by a Trans India Holidays representative and he will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check in formalities. The tour starts from the capital city, Delhi, a lively city, with an ideal combination of the ancient and the contemporary era. The city has two visible parts, Old Delhi which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the forts, tombs and the ancient ruins whereas the New Delhi offers high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues. Day 2: In Delhi
A full day sightseeing of the Old and the New Delhi starting from the largest Friday Mosque- Jama Masjid, the famous silver street of Chandni Chowk, the mighty Red Fort, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi-Raj Ghat, the famous Hindu temple-Birla Mandir, the India Gate & Rajpath, then to the President’s House-Rashtrapati Bhawan, then to the well known 73 m high victory tower- Qutub Minar and finally to the beautifully lotus shaped temple-Bahai temple. Day 3: Drive Delhi to Agra (220 kms/04 hrs)
After visiting the lively city, Delhi, drive to Agra the city of the Taj Mahal, the next stop on your Golden triangle tour. Taj Mahal a great monument constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra is considered to be the highlight of any Golden triangle package. On your arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the facilities or exploring the city of love on your own. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4: In Agra
The day starts early sunrise visit to one of the Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of this famous monument is said to have taken 22 years, starting from 1631. Later, on visit the Agra Fort, the walled city constructed by the Famous Mughal emperors and then to Itmad-ud-Daulah, the exquisite tomb of a Persian adventurer who became chief minister at the Emperor Jahangir’s court. Day 5: Drive Agra to Jaipur (250 kms/05 hrs)
After visiting the city of the Taj Mahal, start you drive to Jaipur, the pink city the next stop on your Golden Triangle enroute stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient capital. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri continue your drive to the city that arrays a pink carpet to all its visitors. Jaipur was painted pink to welcome Prince Albert in the year 1853. On your arrival, check into the hotel for a 2 night stay and enjoy the remaining day at leisure and explore the well planned city and its colorful markets on your own. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6: In Jaipur
After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating eclipses. Day 7: Drive Jaipur to Delhi (250 kms/05 hrs) and depart Delhi
Return to Delhi by road, stopping at the Neemrana Palace, an elegant and historical heritage hotel for tea, before continuing your drive to Delhi’s International Airport for your flight back home, with pictures, souvenirs and memories of the Golden Triangle Tour.
