The tour then takes you through the quiet lake side town of Pushkar, significantly famous for the Pushkar Camel Fair. This fair takes place in Pushkar every year during November. Bordering the Thar Desert in Rajasthan, at the center of Pushkar is the Pushkar Lake, where hundreds and thousands of pilgrims gather to take a holy dip. This fair attracts thousands of pilgrims, cattle traders and farmers every year. After enjoying the colorful fair the tour takes a turn to the Pink City, Jaipur followed by the dwelling of the World's famous tribute of love Taj Mahal in Agra. The tour ends in Delhi where you will have a chance for last minute shopping at some of the famous glitzy bazaars.

• Day 1: Arrive Mumbai

  Your Pushkar Fair Special Tour begins with your arrival at the Mumbai International Airport. At the airport, you will be received by a Trans India Holidays representative and he will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check in formalities. Mumbai earlier known as 'Bombay' is the commercial capital of India. It is a perfect combination of culture, customs and lifestyle. Mumbai is the most cosmopolitan city in India. It is the financial powerhouse and the nerve center of India's fashion industry. Mumbai is dotted with plenty of architectural landmarks from Victorian era and the days of the Raj. • Day 2: In Mumbai

  A half day's sightseeing tour of Mumbai includes visits to the Prince of Wales museum- the main museum in Mumbai. The museum is constructed in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. The museum building is fenced by a garden of palm trees and formal flower beds, followed by a visit to the Gateway of India- a conventional arch constructed in 1927, to honor the visit of King George V and Queen Mary. Gateway of India is situated in the southernmost peninsula of the city, continue your sightseeing to the Marine Drive, one of the landmark thoroughfares of South Mumbai, it is also known as the Queen's Necklace because of the shimmering lights that dot this road, that are visible from long distances, and then visit the beautiful Hanging garden, followed by a visit to the famous World Heritage Elephanta Caves. The beautiful temple complex covers an area of 60,000 sq. ft consisting of a main chamber, 2 sideways, courtyards and subsidiary shrines. • Day 3: Fly Mumbai-Udaipur

  After a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, you will be met by our representative and will be assisted with the check-out formalities. Then you will be escorted to the airport to board the flight for Udaipur, your next destination on the Pushkar Fair Tour Package. Udaipur: Udaipur, literally meaning the city of sunshine was established by a Rajput king Maharana Uday Singh in the year 1567 and this city is now known as the City of Lakes and the Venice of the East. Udaipur is a dreamy lake city with its marble whims, striking hibiscus-covered gardens and elegant fountain porches, which symbolize the glory of Rajput era. Like many other cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is the legacy of an honor-bound race that loved the good thing in life and often gave up their lives protecting them. You will be received by our representative at the Udaipur airport and he will escort you to the hotel. He will then assist you with the check in formalities. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

• Day 4: In Udaipur

  A half day's sightseeing tour of the Venice of the East, Udaipur. The guided sightseeing tour starts from the magnificent City Palace - towering over the lake, this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The Jagdish Temple that treasures a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, after that visit the beautiful Saheliyon ki bari a small ornamental garden with fountains, stone elephants and an enchanting lotus pool. • Day 5: Udaipur – Pushkar (300 kms / 6 hrs)

  After breakfast, you will be met by our representative and he will assist you with the check-out formalities. You will then start your drive to Pushkar, for three exciting days at the famous Pushkar camel fair. Pushkar: Pushkar a quiet lake side town in the state of Rajasthan is a major religious destination for the Hindus. It has one of only three Brahma temples in India. There is an enchanting lake at the heart of this small town where hundreds and thousands of pilgrims gather to take a holy dip. Almost half a million tourist are seen here every year enjoying this colorful fair. Though camels are the major tourist attraction in this fair but there are a number of activities that charms the tourists, including tug of war, moustache competition, matka phod, bridal completion and camel parades. Activities for tourists also include visiting the local bazaars, craft stalls and witnessing the camel races. On your arrival check in at the Camp. • Day 8: Pushkar – Jaipur (145 kms / 3 hrs)

  After a relaxing breakfast at the camp start your drive to Jaipur the next destination on the Pushkar Fair Special Tour Package. Jaipur:Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is known as the pink city because of the pink tinted construction in the old city. It is situated on a dry lake bed, bordered by barren hills vanquished by forts and broken walls. The city was set up in the year 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II. He positioned the city with rectangular blocks according to the early Hindu architecture. This city is great for shopping. On your arrival at the hotel you will be met by our representative and will then be assisted with check in formalities. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

• Day 9: In Jaipur

  After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an outstanding illustration of Rajput architecture, remarkably situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating eclipses. • Day 10: Jaipur – Agra (250 kms / 5hrs)

  After visiting the pink city, start you drive to the city of the Taj Mahal, Agra, enroute stopping at the ancient capital of Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri. This city was built in the 16th century, and was abandoned for 12 years due to the scarcity of water. The entire city is still intact, and a sight of this city is worth remembering. After visiting the ancient capital continue your drive to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal a great monument constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. On your arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the facilities of the hotel or explore the city of love on your own. Overnight stay in Agra.

• Day 11: Agra – Delhi (220 kms / 4 hrs)

  The day starts with an early sunrise visit to one of the Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of this famous monument is said to have taken 22 years, starting from 1631. Later, on visit the Agra Fort, the walled city constructed by the Famous Mughal emperors and then to Itmad-ud-Daulah, the exquisite tomb of a Persian adventurer who became chief minister at the Emperor Jahangir's court. Later in the afternoon stop for lunch and then continue your drive to Delhi. Delhi is a lively capital city with a perfect combination of the ancient and the contemporary era. The city has two visible parts, Old Delhi which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the forts, tombs and the ancient ruins whereas the New Delhi offers high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues. • Day 12: In Delhi

  A full day sightseeing of the Old and the New Delhi starting from the largest Friday Mosque- Jama Masjid, the famous silver street of Chandni Chowk, the mighty Red Fort, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi-Raj Ghat, the famous Hindu temple-Birla Mandir, the India Gate & Rajpath, then to the President's House-Rashtrapati Bhawan, then to the well-known 73 m high victory tower- Qutub Minar and finally to the beautifully lotus shaped temple-Bahai temple. Overnight stay in Delhi.

• Day 13: Depart Delhi

  Have a relaxed morning at your hotel or take in some last minute shopping. After a 1200 hrs. (noon) check out, you will be met by our representative at the hotel and will be assisted with the checkout formalities. He will then escort you to the airport for your flight back home.
