Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrive Delhi

  Your luxury safari in India begins with an arrival into Delhi, where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your Hotel The Leela Palace in Delhi. The country's energetic capital, offers a panorama of fascinating but very conflicting images, from the forts, tombs and ruins in Old Delhi to high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues in New Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.

• Day 2: In Delhi

  A full day's sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting the mighty Red Fort; Friday Mosque -Jama Masjid; silver street of Chandni Chowk; Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi; The Hindu temple - Birla Mandir; India Gate & Rajpath; Rashtrapati Bhawan - the President's House; Humayun's Tomb; Qutab Minar - a 73m high victory tower and the Bahai Temple - beautifully shaped to resemble a lotus flower. A second night in Delhi - we can recommend restaurants for dinner tonight, if you would like. Overnight stay in Delhi.

• Day 3: Fly Delhi to Nagpur and drive Nagpur to Pench (90 kms/02 hrs)

  Transfer to Delhi Airport for your flight to Nagpur where you will be met and transferred to Pench, the first National park you visit on your luxury safari , a beautiful National park of varied topography, ever-changing vegetation and home to a wide diversity of birdlife and wildlife. On arrival check in at the Taj & Beyond Baghvan Lodge, your home for the next two nights. Evening game drive in the Park. Overnight stay in Pench.

• Day 4: In Pench

  Morning and evening game drives in Pench National park. Overnight stay in Pench.

• Day 5: Drive Pench to Kanha (200 kms/05 hrs)

  After another early morning game drive in Pench National Park, you drive to Kanha National Park, the next stop on your India Tiger safari, to spend 2 nights at Taj & Beyond Banjaar Tola lodge. Overnight stay in Kanha.

• Day 6: In Kanha

  Morning and evening game drives in Kanha National park. Overnight stay in Kanha.

• Day 7: Drive Kanha to Bandhavgarh (250 kms/06 hrs)

  After another early morning game drive in Kanha National Park, you drive to Bandhavgarh,the third Tiger reserve you visit on your luxury safari , the forest is beautiful and there is much to see, your guide will share his excellent local knowledge and hopefully lead you to a wonderful tiger sighting. On arrival you will be delivered to Taj & Beyond Mahua Kothi Lodge for a 2 night stay Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh

• Day 8: In Bandhavgarh.

  Morning and evening game drives in Bandhavgarh National Park. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

• Day 9: Overnight onboard the train.

  Drive Bandhavgarh to Umaria (35 kms/01 hour) & train Umaria to Agra An early morning game ride in Bandhavgarh National Park. Later drive to Umaria Railway Station for the 20:50 pm train for Agra. Overnight onboard the train.

• Day 10: Arrive Agra

  Arrive Agra at 10:45 am and you will be met and transferred to Hotel Oberoi Amarvilas. Agra is the City of the Taj Mahal. Later head out to see the sights, beginning with the Taj Mahal, a monument to love and one of the Wonders of the World, it was created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit the Agra Fort, offering gorgeous views from its lofty wall. Overnight in Agra.

• Day 11: Drive Agra to Delhi (220 kms/04 hrs) and depart Delhi

  Your Tiger safari tour in India ends with a transfer back to Delhi airport, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar, an almost perfectly preserved 400 year-old Mughal capital. After the visit, continue to Delhi's international airport for your flight home.
