• Day 1: Arrive Delhi

  Your Rajasthan tour package begins with your arrival at the Delhi International Airport. At the airport, you will be received by a Trans India Holidays representative and he will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check in formalities. The tour starts from the capital city, Delhi, a lively city, with an ideal combination of the ancient and the contemporary era. The city has two visible parts, Old Delhi which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the forts, tombs and the ancient ruins whereas the New Delhi offers high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues. • Day 2: In Delhi

  A full day sightseeing of the Old and the New Delhi starting from the largest Friday Mosque- Jama Masjid, the famous silver street of Chandni Chowk, the mighty Red Fort, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi-Raj Ghat, the famous Hindu temple-Birla Mandir, the India Gate & Rajpath, then to the President’s House-Rashtrapati Bhawan, then to the well known 73 m high victory tower- Qutub Minar and finally to the beautifully lotus shaped temple-Bahai temple. • Day 3: Drive Delhi to Samode (220 kms/04 hrs)

  The actual Rajasthan tour begins today, with your drive to Samode. On your arrival in Samode, check in at the Samode Palace, one of India’s most charming and romantic heritage hotels. Samode Palace is an outstanding example of Rajput-Mughal architecture and flaunts some of the best paintings and mirror-work in the state. Overnight stay in Samode.

• Day 4: Drive Samode to Mandawa (130 kms/03 hrs)

  After experiencing the beauty of Samode Palace, this morning start your drive to Mandawa, a beautiful town, located in the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. On your arrival check in at Castle Mandawa - an ideal base to discover the legacy of 18th Century paintings that beautifies the Havelis of this fairy-tale town. With covered balconies and turreted battlements the Castle offers modern comforts with an old world charm. Later in the afternoon sightseeing tour of Mandawa visiting the Aath Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat haveli & Chokhani haveli. • Day 5: Day 05 - Drive Mandawa - Bikaner (190 kms/04 hrs.)

  The next stop on your Rajasthan tour is Bikaner, popularly called camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. Freshen up at your hotel and then head out to see the sights beginning with a visit to Junagarh Fort. Junagarh boasts an extravagantly decorated interior, with gold-leaf paintings, stained-glass windows, carved balconies, delicate lattice work and lacquered doors. You will also visit Deshnok's Karni Mata Temple and a camel breeding farm - the only one of its kind in Asia. Overnight stay in Bikaner.

• Day 6: Drive Bikaner to Jaisalmer (330 kms/06 hrs.)

  After your royal stay start your drive to Jaisalmer, an attractive city on the very edge of India, it rises from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage. On your arrival in Jaisalmer you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to your chosen hotel. The afternoon is free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel or explore this beautiful city. Overnight stay in Jailsalmer.

• Day 7: In Jaisalmer

  Start the day with some sightseeing, The Jaisalmer Fort, which was constructed in 1156 by the Bhati ruler, RaoJaisal stands over the 80 m tall Trikuta hill, and is surrounded by 3 walls and 99 bastions. The Golden sandstone fort over the centuries have witnessed many battles between the Bhatis, Mughals and the Rathores of Jodhpur, continue the sightseeing with a visit to Gaddisagar Lake, which was once the source of water supply to the city, together with this also view some intricately carved temples and sculptured havelis. Later, in the evening a visit to the panoramic dunes of Sam, a visit to which will remain in your memory as one of the highlights of your Desert tour. The spirits of the desert, the ripples of the Dunes create a fascinating mirage that stretches for miles and miles. • Day 8: Drive Jaisalmer to Rohet (285 kms/06 hrs)

  After your visit to the beautiful desert city continue your drive to Rohet enroute stopping at Jodhpur for a short sightseeing tour visiting the Mehrangarh Fort, The Jaswant Thada and the colorful Sardar market. After the sightseeing of Jodhpur, continue to Rohet, a picturesque village in the Marwar region. On your arrival check in at Rohetgarh for 2 nights - the home of the descendants of the 16th century Rathore, that now offers guests the warmth of Rajput hospitality. Overnight stay in Rohetgarh.

• Day 9: In Rohet

  The morning is for you to relax and enjoy the surrounding and the facilities of Rohet Garh. Later in the afternoon, take a safari through the nearby Bishnoi villages. The Bisnois are said to be the Premier ecologists of the world, who have protected nature for over 500 years, and are responsible for the survival of several animal species including the Black Bucks. The Village Safari gives visitors the privilege of visiting the homes of the villagers, and interacting with them. Overnight stay in Rohetgarh.

• Day 10: Drive Rohet to Udaipur (235 kms/5.5 hrs)

  After a beautiful stay at Rohet start your drive to Udaipur, literally meaning “the city of Sunrise”, was established by a Rajput King, Maharana Uday Singh, in 1567, and this city is now also known as the “city of Lakes” and also the “Venice of the East”. Udaipur is a moony lake city with its marble whims, attractive hibiscus-covered gardens and elegant fountain porches, which symbolize the glory of Rajput era. Like many other cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is the heirloom of an honor-bound race that loved the good things in life and often gave up their lives protecting them. • Day 11: In Udaipur

  A half day's sightseeing tour of the Venice of the East, Udaipur. The guided sightseeing tour starts from the magnificent City Palace - towering over the lake, this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The Jagdish Temple that treasures a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, after that visit the beautiful Saheliyon ki bari a small ornamental garden with fountains, stone elephants and a enchanting lotus pool. The afternoon is free for you to further explore the town or enjoy the facilities and services of Oberoi Udaivilas. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

• Day 12: Drive Udaipur to Deogarh (140 kms/03 hrs)

  After visiting the City of Lakes, start your drive to Deogarh. Deogarh is Ideally located, in the heart of the Aravalli Hills, less than 3 hours drive from Udaipur, is the Deogarh Mahal. Lovingly restored, by one of the nicest and the friendliest families of Rajasthan, the Deogarh Mahal is one of the best Heritage Hotels in Rajasthan. Deogarh has a spectacular swimming pool, and several roof terraces, courtyards and walkways . Every year during November the famous Pushkar Fair is held here . This fair is a massive gathering of farmer’s sellers of camels, cattle and horses but it attracts games, races, local folk dances and other entertainments also. • Day 14: Drive Pushkar to Jaipur (145 kms/03 hrs)

  After visiting Pushkar, continue your drive to Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital and it's largest city. On your arrival, check in at your chosen hotel for a 2 night stay. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the surroundings on your own. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

• Day 15: In Jaipur

  After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating eclipses. • Day 16: Drive Jaipur to Neemrana (140 kms/2.5 hrs)

  After visiting the capital city of Rajasthan, start your drive to Neemrana, the last stop on your Rajasthan tour package, to spend a night at this most sophisticated and historic heritage hotel. Neemrana is situated on a majestic plateau, in the Aravalli ranges, this 15th century architectural gem is one of India's oldest heritage buildings and a lovely place to indulge in an aruerveydic treatment or some gentle yoga. • Day 17: Drive Neemrana to Delhi (130 kms/2.5 hrs)

  After visiting Neemrana, start your drive to Delhi. On your arrival in Delhi you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to your selected hotel. We will be pleased to recommend restaurants & interesting places to stroll on your last evening in India. Overnight stay in New Delhi.

• Day 18: Depart Delhi

  Have a relaxed morning and after the regular check out, you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to the New Delhi International Airport for your flight back home.
